FIFA 18 Switch does not look too good and smells a little FIFA Legacy that we had in PSVita, and that is not a good sign, but look, you understand. The FIFA saga has taken two directions: one, which is what we like, is to go polishing the series offering new elements and making their matches a lot more enjoyable, as we pointed out in their progress. The other is the one offered by the Legacy series, which is to get previous experiences of FIFA, without Frostbite engine, without Journey mode with Alex Hunter and without implementations of any kind, only offering an update of templates, but also offering FIFA 18 For PS3, Xbox 360 and presumably also for Switch.
Apparently the graphics engine will not be the only difference, since according to the Eurogamer media, the acclaimed history mode of FIFA 18 could also be out of the reach of Nintendo Switch, which could count, yes, with some exclusive addition to not be Lame versus versions of Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. Once again, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 will stay with the most classic elements of the game of sports competition.
As we said, it is very difficult to have all the improvements in explosive reactions, animations or adjustment of movements between plays that we will have in FIFA 18 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Fortunately, we will have something that the game needs: improving AI. FIFA 18 Switch with career mode, tournaments, draft, kick off, FIFA Ultimate Team, Squad Building Challenges, online mode and offline game mode.
No further details have been given, but it seems the best way to play FIFA 18 is by choosing PS4, Xbox One and PC, with FIFA 18 Switch being an enhanced version with respect to the Legacy editions that will reach PS3 and Xbox 360, or Exactly the same. To say that this will be the best version of a FIFA portable is not much to say.
